Re: Looking for dwarf red
How Southern are you? They grow and look great in Pensacola Florida but I never get bananas.

Re: Looking for dwarf red
The plant is a beast .
This plant holds well in a container. Overwinters well indoors with less than ideal conditions. Keeps well under artificial lights. Responds quickly to the outdoors. .https://flic.kr/s/aHsmp4M6Cf Last edited by cincinnana : 03-01-2020 at 08:43 PM. |

Re: Looking for dwarf red
I'll know in a couple of months what my mat looks like. I never trim till all danger of frost has past about twenty more days here and then just fitting it in the schedule. I should have pups. Do you ever come this way or as far as Biloxi?

Re: Looking for dwarf red
After my husband finishes this job he is working on, we are looking hard at this. Does it do well in the ground there? I am on Oxygen, so travel is hard. How much would one cost?

Re: Looking for dwarf red
I am also looking for a dwarf red if anyone has one. Recently ordered one online but pretty sure it's a Sumatrana X Cross after comparing with the Wiki pages. Definitely not a red banana as it has red wine marks all over the leaves. If someone has one they are willing to sell I would definitely be interested.
