Hello all,
I am looking for a pup hopefully for Acuminata Colla variegated. I have not had tremendous luck with seeds because I didn't have a humidity dome. But I began using an airtight food storage container with sphagnum moss and have had great luck with cuttings, so I think that I may have better success now. But if any of you have resources on where to find one, please let me know. I can only find seeds for sale that would have to be imported on ebay. |

I wear a hat so full sun is not an issue. It only takes a few seconds to throw the seeds and only a government employee would figure out a way to make a task like that last all day.
Always throw the seeds in an area that wasn't previously used to germinate seeds. Some seeds can germinate years later so it's best to remember where what was thrown. This is the best natural seed disperser on the farm. They eat the fruit then lay in the sun, (@beam2050 - they always prefer to lay in full sun) after digesting the fruit they regurgitate the fiber and seeds while walking backwards. In about a month there will be a strait line of banana seedlings. If I find some today I'll post the photo.
