About the banana plant -
  • It was transplanted as a pup into this 5-gallon pot on August 2, 2010.
  • It is a fruiting hybrid, not a Musa species.
  • It is listed in the Bananas.org Wiki.
The first person to correctly guess the name of this banana cultivar pictured below wins a free banana plant of their choice (including shipping to most countries) from a list that includes this particular individual and other 2-gallon size plants I have available to give away at the time.
