I have several bunches of bananas that only half-ripened prior to winter. We have mild winters here in Sydney Australia with no frosts. Will they ripen now that spring has arrived or do I just cut them down and wait for other plants to bear fruit?

Depends on how filled out they are and especially on the number of leaves left. If they still have a few green leaves they should continue to ripen no problem.

Ripening/growth is paused until warmer weather returns. It should be interesting to observe. Your summer is our winter ![]() Good luck with your plants ![]() |

My Goldfinger lost it's last leaf and the bunch hasn't ripened yet, should I ripen it inside?
