Take alook at my banana and let me know if you know whats wrong with it. I think I've been watering it properly. It was planted about a month ago. Some of the foliage may have been sunburned, but the drooping has got me.

dean, my basjoos and d. oriocos have done that. the new leaves that have come out have not done this. so i think its a natural thing for them to do. maybe someone with more experience can give you a better idea. jmo.

xavierdlc61887, Yes I have the dreaded Bermuda grass. I have to fight w/ it all the time. Have a hard time keeping it out of the flower beds.

I do have some Round Up that I'm careful about using. I'd like to think of myself as organic, but sometimes I cheat just a little. They say you can use 20% vinegar to kill grass and weeds, but it dosen't work on Bermuda Grass.
In another area I used landscaping fabric to solarize and kill the Bermuda Grass. ![]() ![]() Dean |
