Ah this is not a trait I was aware of. I thought they were generally a solid colour other than cavendish, which had some yellow throughout the pedals. Thanks for your patience while I learn.

Remove the large pup, let the small pup continue. If the mother plant doesn't flower in 2 months, also remove the small pup.
