I am cycads collector not palms, especially encephalartos species, they are prehistoric plants very rare and of course also expensive...

It effects some way more than others. AEAE is the worst! Mine wouldn't grow at first until a variegated Musa expert (Hector) sugested that I put some shade up over it! Then it still burned in some spots until it reached 8 foot or so!!!! Florida is a little better, but still burns some. Namwa mailong and variegated basjoo will just barely burn in spots. The real Ta-Née and Variegated dwarf namwa are the 2 best by far! Fastest growers and Never burn! Always look amazing. For sure my favorite 2 of all the variegated types!

Overwatering you will see browning around the edges of the leaves. Sometime they will even curl. To me the plant looks awesome! Excellent job!
Interesting brother, mine were in the shade but I exposed them a little more so that they become acclimated, I guess at some point they could adapt to full sun, although from what I read the best would be half shadow.

I would love to see your plants.
