![]() Hello all,
This’s my first post here and am quite amazed how active the community is ![]() I received my Musa AeAe as a gift last week and today I noticed a black area on the lower end of the trunk and its a little bit mushy.. I know it maybe a rot or a bacteria but I thought I might ask.. Am not quite sure if the size of the area has increased since last week but I took some pictures of the area: ![]() ![]() |

If you use organic fertilizer or mycorrizae you may lightly use it . Your mix should look similiar to this fluffy mix. Click the photo link to see more soiless mix photos for your new musa. . https://flic.kr/s/aHskn4Nmrt Post a photo of the whole plant if possible so we can see its health. What soil did the seller recommend? . ![]() Soilless mix by Hostafarian, on Flickr Last edited by cincinnana : 10-21-2022 at 04:35 PM. |

If you want another variegated banana the Musa Nono seems popular now but there's many other variegated ones like the Musa Moto Ebanga and Musa Moto Mo Liko.
