One thing the Potassium Permaganate is good at is killing snails and slugs in the garden I would imagine. It is a molluscicide. I wouldn't eat anything that's been treated with it, nor would I treat any of my plants with it. I use it in my reef to kill pests when quarantining corals. It is potent and dangerous. Mine came with an informative product safety sheet that tells you basically to dont touch or breathe it and use it in a well ventilated area. I also dose strontium and maganesium Litermeter III dosing pumps. But my reef, not my bananas.

True. As with any chemical, always read the MSDS sheet before use. Just like Colchicine, know what your dealing with before using it.
