![]() I'm struggling with which P-stems to protect this Winter. I have too many and not enough time and money to protect all. Well as I was in the graden today one of my larger Orinocos let me know by throwing out a bloom. Take him off the list. I'm guessing it was about ten feet tall and I was hoping it would be the first to bloom next year. I thought the cooler temps had stopped most growth. Guess not!!!

![]() Let's hope that this winter will be as warm, as it seems to be in the beginning. That way you might even save the bloom. As for which P-stems to choose, I'm unsure. The bigger the plant and the better it is established, the bigger chance of going through your mild Florida winter. So I would probably care for the medium-sized plants, not the smallest and the tallest p-stems.
