Hiya Quick Question about Pups

So tonight I got brave and separated two pups from one of my manzanoes (it still has two or three more). Each pup has a good root system.

My question is this:

Do I plant immediately (I have a cactus mix) or do they need to callous first? and if callous first, how long?

and if it matters, I am in Arizona where it is hovering between 107 and 111 this week.

Thanks,
M
