![]() The bracts on my basjoo are a similar size but burgundy in colour. And the fruit is longer.

Currently growing: M.velutina, M.ornata, M.zebrina, M.sikkimensis, M.basjoo, ~~~~~~ M. rajapuri, Blue Java, dwarf red dacca, Williams, Dwarf Chinese plantain (same as dwarf cav?), dwarf cav, super dwarf cav, Choui cau (Senorita), Goldfinger, Pisang ceylan, and Four Tongan varieties I'm working through,one is popoulu. Newly added: Gros michele, lakatan and saba. |

He is excited to know he finally got some fruit even though from what I read they are not edible. Is that true? |
