Default The pitfalls of eBay :(

I thought I had received a Dwarf Namwah from a seller earlier this month. I was very happy about it until this leaf came up this weekend.

I am very limited with space and do not want to waste time and effort into growing a cavendish or chiquita banan that you can buy from the store (looks like it might be a double mahoi or gran nain). How disappointing.

I tried contacting the seller about this and they have not responded yet. So, my lesson learned is, wait until the last few days to leave feedback cos something unforeseen might occur.

I'm sorry I do not want to publicly mention the name (might be a sensitive thing to do), but the seller name starts with the letter 'f.' That is the second leaf that has unfurled since I received the plant (about three weeks ago).

Did you pay by paypal? If you did you can contest the payment and demand a refund.

yeah i ordered from the same guy..yep the best thing we can do now is get you a namwah from another member. when mine has pups later we can trade. i hope this is namwah,if its not namwah its french horn plantain.. if you dont care for taking another chance we can wait till i get fruit. lol.

i understand its not the money its the time you put into it..what a big letdown. i try to do right by people, because i hate trusting people and being screwed.. if he doesnt offer to make it right by the end of the week contact ebay and complain. so many mixups when it comes to bananas, and getting what you really want. im glad i waited a few days before i rated him. dont see any red splotches so far and it has put out 3rd leaf and its working on four since i got it.i wont be really pissed off its french horn.

^A diminutive of leaves. Ron is referring to the juvenile leaves.

Well, good news. The seller responded to my email and hopefully something will get worked out.

well i should clarify because everything has to be exact for mr. exact nothing approximate shall do.

i was using leaflet to describe the small leaves that were pushed from his banana t.c...(which is not proper). im sure it didnt throw him off too much,he understood. a true leaflet is part of a compound leaf for example a tomato plant has leaflets.

yeah we do have editing tools because people make mistakes. we can clairfy. i do it several times.
thanks for making me aware if mine.. the world is safe again.

Thanks, I'm still not 100% sure as to what a leaflet is though, but I'm learning. Juvinile leaves gives me an idea but I'll need to look it up.
