Nice bunch

How long does it take for the fruit to mature?

i looked back at my thread on here and it looks like the flower first started to emerge june 24th 2023 and i was eating the bananas about 7 months later
it wasnt a thriving plant but it did produce an edible bunch

this one is still small generally but bigger and healthier than the last one to fruit for me so i am looking forward to some bananas!

That's really cool, pot or in the ground? Also what's the size and age of it?

Looks like your indoor setup works really well. Do you notice any difference in taste when ripening indoors?

sorry for the late reply all43, it is in a fabric pot that is around 35 gallons
pstem is 4.5 feet ... the last one was just under 3 feet
this one is thicker and healthier that the last one that fruited and it was a pup of the last one to fruit
still in the same pot as the one that fruited last time and that was 2 years ago.... about 2 years old

i have never had a dwarf namwa grown under ideal conditions to compare

i have been putting off bringing the plants in but it will be any time now
humidity is one of the key things for indoor growing over the winter
cold air is very dry

That's cool to read, mine is about the same age/size and also about to come in the house for the winter, I've had no pups of it so far so I've got to baby this one with no back up!!!
Fingers crossed for fruits....

A nice advantage of using the fabric pots is being able to raise soil moisture during the day and then easily removing it before evening.
