Thanks Patty I dig them each fall and put them in my crawl space they look rough each spring but after a month or so they take off. The smaller ones I pot up and put in a small basement where they get partial light. I have more
varieties this year so I'm anxious to see how the different varieties overwinter.
I left one orinoco bunch out wrapped in insulation just to see how it does. It's been really cold for us this year so we'll see how they do.
Oh yeah Randy you are my hero that looks great I got to get some palms this year!!!

2009 basjoos, lambs ears, solomons seal, and a pale pink lily. hostas called "fried bananas", and some cannas i grew from seed from tophersmith, and of course branches from my american green willow tree

sweet pictures , Oh what a great summer it's going to be for everyone. I have a quick question for anyone who might know or has any idea to this . I live in southern Ont Canada and im flying out to Vancouver to see my grandma and i was wondering what kind of bananas might be out there in nurseries. Imma check when i go anyway . okay thnx im got to get my dc (digital camera ) out and start takin some pics too .

Hey, pal (aka dude), some of my tissue culture plants that are only 6" high have a tiny pup! I've had several plants end up with pups by 15", but not most. Looks like it's holding up to your weather well!

Someone from another forum sent me a couple pups a few days ago, and that is one of them. I believe they are called 'musa basjoo'. I am planning to put them outside when they get going.

Still didn't get Tog's seeds yet, but likely will next week. I am gonna grow some of his varieties also. I hope to become real good at growing them, also.

I am already totally addicted!
