Re: ensete maurelli,pups
Jazz, sandy0225 had a good thread on this: Ensete maurelii red creating pups. I don't know how to provide link but it will come up in a search, She damaged the top portion and the plant put out a bunch of pups. Funny thing I got a couple from her and one of those now has a pup. Congrats happy bunnie!

Re: ensete maurelli,pups
This is not my Maurelii as I managed to leave my big one planted out in the worst winter for 20 Years I did try digging it up and propping the corm but it was dead.
This is a row of pots containing the bases of E Maurelii and dozens of pups. Pic was taken at a recent forum visit to Urban Jungle nr Norwich, UK.

Re: ensete maurelli,pups
I'm almost tempted to pay 15 quid in Homebase for one of those, just so I can get it to pup.
