Novice
My banana tree came with the house. How do i figure out what variety it is? Takes about 8 months to ripen but they are soft on surface when peeled but hard on inside. Not sweet

Welcome to the forum. ID always starts with pictures. It may not be definitively identifiable until it flowers and fruits, but pics now might be helpful.
