Newbie looking for some help :)
Hi,
I am new to the world of banana plants & have jumped in by purchasing myself a Musa Florida Variegated. So as its a 1st to me I am looking for some helpful info on caring for the plant. I am in the UK so will be kept in a pot inside. It arrived today & is about 50cm tall in a 10.5cm pot. So a few questions I would like help with are. 1) Which potting substrate would be best & when should I repot seeing as its new & how big should I go with the pot. 2) Is Tap water or rain water better to give to it. 3) It will be located in a room south facing so it will get plenty of sun so would I need an extra light source. 4) Best food or fertilizer Struggling massively to upload a picture from my phone. Anything else you can think of would also be appreciated. |
