Okay, so I watched this again the other night....and you totally get points in my book for saying 'twenty-oh-seven.' Way to be ahead of the times, Scot! I can't wait till they finally figure out that 'two-thousand_______' is not the eventual way we will be saying this. My guess is 2010 will be where we finally 'switch over.' So yeah...random props. Hope I didn't derail your thread too much.

And thanks again, Scot! I appreciate all the excellent information...so great to learn so much in such a brief time!

'Boi, you can thank the DVD narrator, Thor Wold. That is how he read my text (twenty-oh-seven), and I just let him ride with it. He's a pro. He also works up at an astronomical observatory atop Mauna Kea mountain on the Big Island, at an elevation of 13,796 ft. He works 10 days on, 6 days off. I suppose that having this view (see below) all the time mght expand one's mind a wee bit.

Ahhh, the Twenty Hundreds! I can't stand it when people say "they year" either. As if we would confuse 1989 or 2012 with...a pound of ham. Nobody said "the year" in the Nineteen Hundreds.

It's not Two Thousands, it's Twenty Hundreds! Ha ha ha ha ha.

And when they gon' get wid it keepin' the Panama and Black Sig etc from killin' all dem bananas!!???

Hello everyone:

We are no longer able to mail the "Growing Bananas" DVDs for free to non-Hawaii residents (although we have done that sine June 2009).

After today, you should send money for postage if you do not reside in Hawaii.

However, you could also browse this thread for links to view or download the video online for free at my website (The Plant Doctor) or at YouTube - Broadcast Yourself., or to download it as a free podcast for iPhones or iPods from the iTunes store.
