My First bloom!
This was my first banana tree ever. I now of course have many and gave a lot of them away.(sound familiar?)
Finally after 3 years I have my first bloom! This is pretty exciting since I have never seen a banana tree bloom in real life. I'm still not sure what kind it is. maybe the bloom will idenify the banana species. I'll keep the pics coming through the blooming process. |

How many leaves did you have on the plant when it bloomed?
General question for all: approximately how many will you have on the plants when it will flower? I have read everything from 6 leaves to 20 leaves. Help? |

I'm partial to head country, but I grew up in ponca city. I like some memphis style sauce too. Perfect for pulled pork nachos. I wanted to try growing some different types but we plan on buying a new house soon. have to wait and see. |
