![]() Hello I recently purchased a Manzano plant from Wellsprings Gardens and was solid green, but now it seems to be turning a pinkish red color on the edge of the leaves and the leaf stem. I want to know if this is normal or if it is in fact not a manzano. Keep in mind that i have only had it for a month and is under a 30 percent shade cloth due to the fact that the sun here in vegas is just too hot for it to handle right know. thanks again

![]() I can't say for sure about yours, but Manzano is supposed to have a red leaf edge, especially noticeable when it's young.

Always room for one more. |

![]() There are no obvious signs it's not 'Manzano', but the plant is far too young to be able to positively ID. Also, young TC plants often have do not have distinguishing traits that are present even in young suckers of the same age, so have to let it grow out quite a bit to really judge what characters are present.
