Hey guys I’m in the Uk and my bananas Musa basjoo have just come out of winter had them for 6 years and I think my oldest is glowing has a large bulge coming out definitely not a leaf and is flower shaped
So my question is will it produce leafs too when flowering as it has no leafs with just coming out of winter Thanks guys |

If that is a flower bud the answer is No. Leafing is done.

Not acquainted with Basjoo specifically, but normally bananas cease producing new leaves when they flower.
