Default I think it's getting ready to bloom

I'm not new to the banana world but I am new to the fruiting world. I have a Dwarf Cavendish that is over 4ft tall and I noticed that there is a bulge in the p-stem and the leaves are starting to stack up. Does the bulge mean that it's thinking about throwing out a flower?

Those are indeed some of the signs of and impending flower, but I don't really see anything looking at your photos that would indicate a flower is imminent.

I agree....look for a reduction in leaf size, then the flag leaf.
A bulge at the top is a good indication but I think you would
notice a difference in the newest leaves first.

It definitely looks like its tall enough to start flowering soon. It might have at least another 2-5 leaves in it before it does decide to flower which means that it will probably have to flower indoors. Its a potted banana though so if you have a really sunny window, I bet that you can get a healthy banana or 2 (maybe more if your really lucky!) if it foes happen to bloom indoors. Keep us updated! Its a beautiful plant even when not in bloom!
