![]() As you can see below I have at mat?/Clump/Cluster whatever the correct term is of plants I would like to move to a SUNNIER location. They only recieve 4-5 hours of sun now mid-day sun that is.
I have a spot where I can plant them/it where the amount of sun recieved will double. My question as you can see there are pups/plants/several of them, should I seperate and replant or just dig the whole bunch and replant in the new spot? Any suggestions would as always would be appreciated. Snookie [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

![]() I'd just move the whole bunch. If you want more go ahead and separate.

![]() Yes this a good time for the move. Usually you want to plant at the same depth but some have had good luck planting deeper.

![]() Standing water is lethal to a banana mat. Dig them up fast, and if the area is prone to flooding, plant them on a raised bed. Check out the disease section in my photo gallery. Flooding is not a disease but it is lethal to most banana cultivars.
I hope this helps. ![]() |
