Here are the goldfinger bunches. It was the best we could do at the time, though I think I would have put something in between the rope and the banana so it softened the weak point. But it was nearly 100 mph gusts here.

When we pull down, stand up, or secure a plant we usually use a 2 x 6 to spread the stress point and duct tape the board to the plant at different points which gives a better option on where to tie the rope.

The GF bunch doesn't even look close to being filled enough to be removed from the plant now. I'd stand the pseudostem back up and have the main support point at the inside curve of the peduncle
