mainly what is the health of your plant when you do this; plants in poor health, along time. it can take months. i dug up my monthan last december, i new if i didnt it was going to die. it took till march before it thru out a pup. what kind of potting medium are you using and what did you add to it to prepare it for potting, if anything. also watering it after you pot it is a big issue. most people over water. then how big is the pot? small pots are easy to over water. also, not all bananas grow the same, because all species of bananas are the same. this is just touching the subject.
