![]() Seeing all these pictures of fruiting plants is driving me nuts.
I now have all my bananas potted for the winter and going to keep them going in a sunny window. Hopefully I can get flowers from at least one of my basjoo next year. ![]() So what are some of the faster fruiting bananas? I know this depends on several factors, but what are some of the experiences from some of you? Take care, Ben

![]() My vote is Velutina. In my experience, this one goes from nothing to bloom, then pups over and over pretty fast. It's a small ornamental, seeded banana, though.

![]() My Orinocos seem to grow pretty rapidly. I had to cut two down Saturday on account of a severe storm. I looked at the cuts today. The p-stems have already put out almost two inches of growth each. Wild. Last year I cut one back (different storm) and the plant bloomed.
