Default Fast to Fruit?!?

Seeing all these pictures of fruiting plants is driving me nuts.
I now have all my bananas potted for the winter and going to keep them going in a sunny window. Hopefully I can get flowers from at least one of my basjoo next year.

So what are some of the faster fruiting bananas? I know this depends on several factors, but what are some of the experiences from some of you?

Take care,
Ben

My vote is Velutina. In my experience, this one goes from nothing to bloom, then pups over and over pretty fast. It's a small ornamental, seeded banana, though.

I think Orinoco grows pretty fast as well.

My Orinocos seem to grow pretty rapidly. I had to cut two down Saturday on account of a severe storm. I looked at the cuts today. The p-stems have already put out almost two inches of growth each. Wild. Last year I cut one back (different storm) and the plant bloomed.
