Looking at these photos I see you have 1 of Jarred's Balbisiana!
I have 2 of his also. Here they are......................................

I put this one in the ground a couple of weeks ago. Poor baby started to get
sunburned; so I put a childs wooden chair over it for some protection. It got
acclimated to the sun faster than I thought it would! Less than 1 & half weeks!! FORREAL!!

These plants are rapidly becoming a favorite of mine too. They are just nice, and don't cause
any type of problems even if I don't water them for a while. Iam talking 2,3,4 days in this heat!! They just stay pretty and keep growing. The one in the pot will stay in there till next spring.
The one inground will of course be dug up by frost.
I need to see and evaluate the different effects and growing conditions to find the best way for me to grow them here in z6.
My ultimate goal is to have Fruiting banana plants on my mini plantation.
Actually,,,, my goal is to have a banana plantation and be known as the
"~~~BANANA LADYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY~~~~~~
