What are those?? They look like June Bugs?
I have those here but they don't bother my plants.
I don't think I've seen any grub damage either.

I have these caterpillar/silk worm things chomping on my seedlings and small agave.
I smacked one off and it started floating in the air after throwing out silk.
I'm assuming that's how they find their way on my porch and on my potted plants.

japanese beetles (or some type of beetle). We get them for a month or so and my pool skimmer gets jammed full every day.

Yep....those are rice burners for sure.
Kinda hard to catch too because they stop, drop, and hide.

They do pretty much damage to landscape ornamentals like roses and cannibis.

They love the basjoo and mekong giant the most but aren't afraid of some others. They'll be gone soon.

That's a 6' fence give or take so it's getting close to that.

Also as of this morning the beetles are gone. See ya next year boys and girls...
