![]() Hi all, I did a search but couldn't find a thread discussing this. I'm sure it has been discussed. Does anyone have a link? Or a recommendation?
I'm currently growing Namwa, Ice Cream, Mysore, Dwarf Brazilian, Misi Luki, Orinoco and Raja Puri. Of those I don't need to prop or support the Dwarf Brazilian, Orinoco or Raja Puri when they fruit. I'm getting lazy and looking to possible replace some of my varieties that need propping with varieties that don't Thanks, Bill |

![]() SDC doesn't need propping. I don't know how they taste but suddenly I have a bunch of those. You should update your profile to show where you live since, if you're close to me, we might could trade one of your "proppers" for one of my nots. That's me being selfish. Hehe! Seriously, it's nice to know where other members live. Benefit for you? Someone might organize a potluck and swap meet and they'd know to invite you. (Yes, in my past I did set up annual meet ups--in MD area--60+ plant people with dirty fingernails gathered in a pubic park armed with numerous pots full of goodies and pots filled with food--not sure why the cops always showed up. Weird.)

![]() Darn, my "post" didn't post. I'll summarize a bit and add some other junk.
Get thee to the Member Intro section and post about you even if it's a C&P of the above. Why? Because even nasty, mean members might welcome you. Nice ones may not write a message but we will click to say we're glad we've outed another musaphile. And doing that will let your neighbors (you have lots in CA) know where you are and your situation. I don't suppose you'd like to bring pups to a day long meet up in FL if I organize it? I know you can't take anything botanical back home so no SDCs for you but we could fill your belly with FL food (I haven't a clue what that is--I'll probably bring Yankee coleslaw or a green lentil salad) and, if I'm involved in the orchestration/planning, promise you a meet/greet with the local Sheriff's department. (Sheriff's in MD had no real power except in their "burgs". Here is very much different.) If you decide not to post, then here's a welcome.

![]() Only tall banana I do not prop is Misi Luki.
Saba, Fhia-18, Goldfinger, Praying Hands are fine if they don't some loose from the ground.
