![]() For the last 5-6 years I did not have luck with bananas. I lost quite a few.
Now I have this banana for about 3 years, it got some root rot last year, clean it ,cut it back and had no hopes for it. To my surprise grew few leaves and now i looked up and saw something which looks different than a regular leaf. It does have 2 shorter leaves which i think are flag leaves. Should i do the happy dance? Please tell me its a flower...I am waiting for so long to have some bananas. Thanks ![]() |

![]() I do not mind to take pictures and post them.
I have so many questions... Do i need to do anything special before flowering? I fertilized yesterday with fish emulsion. Is this Ok? Does it need more water? How long till I see the flower? I am checking it few times a day... but it doesn't grow that fast :-) |
