The 1000 fingers has a good sized bunch again - probably over a 1000 by now. However with TS Chantal about to grace our shores possibly as a cat1 hurricane, they might not survive the next few days because of the weight of the bunch.

Luckily it curved south overnight and now will miss us completely in the north, just touching the south coast.

Pics perhaps later! We are benefiting from TS Chantal at the moment and it has been raining at the rate of 1 inch an hour - up to nearly 4 inches now. But not much wind! I will have a root around on my hard drive and see what I can find.

Have you thought of moving back to the UK as we are having a mini heatwave its been hitting 31c in London from the past week,even in Hartlepool we are getting 26c
