Default Dogs ate my plants!!!

My two dingbat labs ate to the ground a Mekong ang basjoo that I had winterized (cut to 3 foot). Are they going to return in the spring. They both died back in early October from frost.

I guess they must taste good. Can't wait to clean the yard. No damage to root system. Just above ground.

My giant tortoise ate my California Gold this past summer. All the leaves were destroyed and the stem was also chewed up pretty good, not much of it left. I thought for sure it was a gonner. I put it in the house to protect it and within a couple of days I could see a new leaf coming from a chewed up stem...I was amazed.

Had a yellow lab that ate a porch...the whole thing....way more expensive to replace than banana trees and probably far less tasty. Go figure.

My friend's dog ate one of his banana plants. So he took the "remains" and tied it to the dog's collar. He drug it around for a few days. and he never bothered the banana plants again!
