Default Can musa basjoo grow from seed?

I have been looking around for basjoo seeds the last couple days in hopes of starting some over this winter and it seems they don't really exist? I saw one search result that said they don't grow from seed.... Is this true? If not, does anyone know where I could find seeds in bulk? Simple google searches doesn't really bring up anything....

Ahhh.... There may be a bunch out there, but they're not cheap for what you can find! I was hoping to be able to grow 50-100 of them.... guess the slow game is the way to go...

They have to be out there because the fruit is full of them.
Maybe some of the plant vendors in the forum will chime in with some ideas
