![]() I tried up loading pics but they just won't go so I put them on FB. IF they don't show here, let me know and I'll change the privacy setting.
So, What's Everyone think? I was given this small plant that I was told is Definitely a Truly Tiny. The woman is a customer in my store and said she has a Bunch of them and they are all about the size of this plant. ![]() ![]() I THEN was in Walmart last week and they had pots of these REALLY small plants. Some even had offsets. I took one with a small offset and you can see it is a LOT smaller than the Truly Tiny. It is in the pot on the left of the Truly tiny that is in the ground! No idea if it will ever produce fruit, but we'll see ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() Look like mine also. Most Truly Tiny are super dwarf cavendish. None of mine have ever flowered. I have seen pictures of them produce though.

![]() JP and Tytaylor77, You think they are both the same? The smaller (walmart plant) is half the size of the other.
The one given to me as a TT is supposed to bloom. The woman I got it from said she does get fruit.

![]() Possible. TT and SDC fruit but it's possible that both are the same. Important part is that you've got 2 nice nanners!

![]() Mine are under a foot and a half. I've got an unknown variety that is way smaller. It doesn't seem to want to go above 10 inches. It's very healthy though. If it fruit, I should get banana jelly beans! Lol!

![]() Tossing this out in the fray.....
Generally Big box stores in Florida only sell the top four plants SDC, DC, Grand main, and SDc sold as Grand Nain. More than likely your plant is not a "Specialty" plant, However when they are very young many look the same to me .......But the red in the stem .....Dwarf Brazillian? But of course this all can be open for discussion. ![]() You can do some label research and see what the providing nursery grows and sells. ![]() My photo has a small TT in the center with mature (for me) Little Prince at the sides and Bordelons in the center. ![]() Truly tiny by Hostafarian, on Flickr |

![]() Phooey. 2 years ago the big 3 sold a variety in my area. Now? Unnamed plantain and DC are my choices. I have DC and enough mysteries already.

![]() I need to take better care of my girls so they'll flower; that would make ID easier. The 2 by the back door are huge; one has fruit and the other looks like it's ready to bloom. Indeed, the suddenly large pup by the one in fruit might pop a flag this summer. BTW, why didn't someone warn me about how big dwarves get? Had I known I'd have planted them a couple of feet further from the door. (And definitely not in front of the hose bib.)
