Default Musa bajoo or not?

Hi folks. I received what is supposed to be a musa bajoo, it’s been in the ground for about a month, but is still short. There is also a short amount of stock between each new leaf. I’m used to my bajoos growing crazy fast. 1st pic is of said plant (about 4” tall), and second is of a bajoo sucker I’d expect it to

Plants are hard to identify..

This is a photo of a young Basjoo.

If your plant looks like this and has a red tinge(maybe) on the underside of the leaf.....It is a basjoo.
