New member in London, UK
Hi there, new around here. I'm Mark in and I am just outside London UK. I have just brought all my bananas in for the winter. At last count I have 6 very large specimens. I am also an avid grower of cannas, especially the large leaved variety, jalapas, and anything else that is not meant to be grown outside in the uk!!! In the winter my small garden looks like death, in the summer it is like being in a jungle. I am also keen on growing traditional herbaceous plants to add splashed of bright colour amongst the tropical summer look.http://www.bananas.org/images/smilie.../nanadrink.gif

Re: New member in London, UK
Welcome and good growing. Out here in central Florida it is seldom that we have to protect the plants. Mostly light frosts but on occasion a good freeze. We watch the weather channel daily also the hurricane channel. Good luck and stay healthy.
