Said "Welcome to Bananas" 0 Times | The new banana! Hello hello hello. I've been interested in bananas for the last year or two, but of course you know how some people can be discouraging. Well, I have gone out on a limb and decided to buy some (they will be here soon) and I have generated so much interested in the community, my phone has been ringing off the hook, BUNCHES of people out there looking for bananas, and I have purchased 28 in total, to help all the other NUTS get started! It's nice to see how all of you care about your bananas so much. I am a stay at home house wife with two beautiful little kids...and now...a few bananas. I'm so excited to get started. Oh, and I'm starting the dwarf cavendish, indoors of course, as it is so COLD here! BRRRRR!

Said "Welcome to Bananas" 991 Times | Re: The new banana! Welcome, Miss Goomba! And good luck with your banana adventure. As long as you keep them indoors during the cold weather, they'll be okay. Then in the spring, slowly bring them out. Do not bring them out to bright sunlight right away, though. You'll get blotches of burned leaves that way. After a couple of weeks or so, bring them to 50% sun, etc. 28 plants, huh? Hope most of them went to the other "NUTS". Otherwise, I can just imagine the jungle in your living room! |
