Hello,
Thank you for letting me into the forum. I got my first banana plant in 2018, it was suppose to be the ice cream banana but it turned out to be the lady finger from the looks of it. I am not complaining just letting you know how I got started. I wanted to learn more about growing and caring for my bananas. |

Welcome to the forum! Im assuming from you screen name, that you are growing in California or Louisiana? Many of us have ordered "ice Cream" aka blue java, and received something else. Have you fruited your plant yet?

I tried to add my photos on here but could not. I was able to add them to gallery(I think). The baby banans are around 3" to 4" long. My kids call them baby bananas so we started calling them that also.

I don't know the variety but I can tell you that your pictures are ones I'd like to be taking of my plants!
My picture sizes on a post are always less than 2mb and upload without trouble. |
