Hey folks!
I just started growing bananas. I grow a ton of fruit here in Z8a just east of Dallas. Figured I'd give bananas a try to see if I can get some fruit in the next few years. Growing these guys inside near a bright window and supplemental lighting from a 240W LED board, if needed, until next spring. Tissue Cultures

I'd like to try to plant them in ground and dig them up like the method shown on this thread: Time to put the bananas to sleep for the Winter Sure hope it works out! If y'all have any tips, hints, other threads I should read, please toss them my way. |

Welcome aboard the Banana Express. ![]() At first, I was trying to figure out what part of Texas was a zone 28a (parts of La Palma I could understand), but then my vision cleared up and I saw it was a Z and not a 2, which makes much more sense... ![]()
