Hello! I live in Montpellier, southern France. In the spring of 2018 I bought a small banana plant in a pot (dwarf cavendish). It grew vey fast outdoors last summer, and kept growing slowly over the winter in a non-heated greenhouse. I took it outside again this spring, and it is now growing again, albeit more slowly than last summer. I suspect the pot is getting too small, but I can't really handle a bigger one. I will post some pictures. I was hoping to get a flower this summer but now I doubt it!

I don't know if you are looking for advice or not, but I would definitely transplant to the biggest pot possible, and put sticks and small logs in the bottom for decomposition

Salut,
Hi The pot is a little bit, but you can let it be deduced that it will not prevent a diet, in the photo there is good to wear! There is little time before the water is cooled. The lack of space will prevent it from getting wet in winter. The potting is not imperative, to you can pot more early next spring. I have a dwarf or a dwarf woman, and he just made me a diet ![]() I do not know if you already knew that you are in the zone where the frosts are weak, there are varieties with edible fruits and more resistant to the cold as the musa dwarf orinoco, dajiao, Brazilian dwarf, ice or even dwarf pisang and the rajapuri. |
