Default Help with Birds of paradise indoor plants

First indoor birds of paradise plants. The leaves are getting a little brown and small holes. Is this normal?

Can you give us more info? Are you experienced with potted plants? How much are you watering? Any fertilizers applied? Some sun or complete shade? In the pot it was bought in or repotted? Have you cleaned the leaves with anything other than water? The leaves on a B.O.P. are pretty thick and tough so I am ruling out insect damage but possible I guess.

How exciting to have Birds of Paradise plants indoors! While it's normal for older leaves to turn brown and develop small holes over time, it could also signal potential issues like underwatering, low humidity, or pest infestation. To ensure your plants thrive, try adjusting their care routine. Check the soil moisture regularly and consider misting the leaves to increase humidity levels.
