Hi Everybody,
Decided no longer just to read all articles & posts here on Bananas.org but to share & learn (mostly) practises with like-minded Nana (and other exotics) growers! I've started this year with some nanas, some have taken off really well, others (mostly ornamentals) have been less successfull, but haven't given up on them yet ![]() Next to nanas, got a wild passion to grow anything exotic, heliconias, gingers, palms, citrus etc, all that this climate allows and if there is some space left ![]() will try to post some pictures soon! ![]() |

Welcome from central Florida. This site has provided us with a lot of good information. Many of the pics posted are outstanding and of great enjoyment to us. We have a nice variety of bananas and passiflora plants, along with some veggies and hope to increase those as time moves on. Where are you located?

hi Oakshadows, thanks for the welcome!
I am located in Cyprus, in the Eastern Mediterrean. Based in Limassol, on the Greek side (still divided since 1974) and facing south to Egypt. We have very mild but wet winters and hot dry summers here, sometimes it doesn't rain for 4 - 5 months.. however humidity is high due to the close proximity to the sea, thankfully, else a lot of plants would get scorched! |
