Hey, folks,
So I built a greenhouse last year, and among the many things I tried were several varieties of banana seeds: Musa Acuminata, Musa Sikkimensis, Musa × Paradisiaca, Ensete ventricosum. I was so excited! Alas, they all failed. Darn it! But I've learned my lessons. I'm pretty sure it was the potting soil I was using, and the lack of bottom heat. Ready now to try again. Meanwhile, I have a very large unidentified species of banana, which has made so many pups over the years I've got at least a dozen in various places in my garden. . . Thanks for looking in. Best, Bill |
