Aloha from JungleGirl🌸
Aloha all! I’m JungleGirl🌺 So glad to be part of this banana family! I live on the beautiful island of Kauai and tend a three acre private botanical garden and tropical food forest in rainy Omao. I have recently become obsessed with collecting rare bananas and have a special interest in heirloom Hawaiian varieties of cooking bananas. Hope to learn and share information about growing these amazing herbs!

E komo mai . Yes, you are on my favorite island. The National Tropical Botanical Garden is located in Kalāheo and has a large collection of bananas. I am not sure of their distribution policy but I would think a lot of their collection has made it out into the community. You will find plenty of help here and a lot of info. Pō.mai.kaʻi.
