Default Added temperature calculator to the search dropdown.

On behalf of Wim's suggestion, we now have a temperature calculator!

Click the search link at the top of any page to have a calculator fold out. Use it to convert the following between each other.
degree Celsius
degree Fahrenheit
degree Rankine
degree Reaumur
kelvin

That should save everyone some time! Enjoy.

Jarred,

Thank you very much! I think I will use it very frequently.

Once a temperature is given, one can convert it to different temperature scales by simply clicking on another To (or From) scale.

And you thought me two more things today, the Reaumur and Rankine temperature scales. It was the very first time I heard of Rankine, Reaumur made a little whisper from times long, long ago.

Hi Jarred,

I see you've added a volume converter to the Search menu. That comes in handy too!

Thanks Wim!
I just adjusted some of the text sizes to make it a tiny bit smaller.

If anyone else has suggestions for the site, please start a thread here in the Site News, Help, & Suggestions forum

Thanks for all the work you've been putting in on this great site. I don't know if it's my computer, or my tired old eyes, but the "smaller text" looks gray instead of black, making it really hard to see. (even with my cheaters) It may not be the size, but the color.

I can make it bigger, that will make it less grey.

Cool Re: Added temperature calculator to the search dropdown.

Thanks, but if everyone else is happy with it, I'm ok with it too. The numbers still come up black, just the words are gray looking. I only mentioned it thinking you may have had gray print instead of black.
I'm getting used to not seeing as good as I used to anyway. LOL.
As long as I can still see my banana & other tropical looking plants, I'll be just fine.
