I am a northern gardener living in southwest FL I had a banana plant like this over the summer. all the little bananas turned black and rotted. what did I do wrong? also does anyone know what type of banana these are? thanks Last edited by molly427 : 03-01-2019 at 08:27 AM. Reason: add photo |

I am having difficulty navigating this site, I cant post my photos. i am not sure what kind of banana plant i have. it has started producing little bananas i dont know how much to water what type of fertilizer etc. Any help would be appreciated

To put them in the photo gallery they need to be 2MB or smaller I think. Your pics may be too large.

If you purchased the plant locally at a big box store in SWF it's probably a dwarf Cavendish.
