I just got back in town this morning And going thru my emails and trying to catch up and seen this. this is a trading rating here by TRAIDER without not knowing anything he posted some negative feed back in 7 days I think we can all learn from this I think we are all on the up and up here but we should know the facts before we take action !!! Here is Paul Harvey You are very quick to post negative comments . you will get your corms this week !!!!!! Now here is Paul Harvey and the rest of the Story. I got a phone call from a very good friend one of those friends I can count on one hand I have a few that no matter what it is we will be their when called upon. Last Sunday Night Jim called and said he needed me I made a few phone calls to arrange to feed my live stock and take care of my green house and other items that needed attention. I pack a bag and was on the road in about hour and half. I drove 14 hours all night and was beside him the next morning. Now I just got back in town this Morning and going thru emails and trying to catch up on everything And see this. I guess you have failed to see all the comments by others plus we don't see anyone else that we were shipping to last week doing the same but email me and waited for a reply you know their are 7 days in a week and some orders take two weeks depending on weather. I think we all can learn what not to do here on the forum.

I understand your situation and am sorry for whatever you went thru with your friend. Digging and mailing a corm wasn't real high on your list after that phone call I don't suppose... I can also understand someone sends money and the one he sent it to seems to disappear, they get nervous about it in today's world. Please don't be too harsh as it's understandable they would be upset. Myself, I would need to know it was deliberate to leave bad feedback somewhere, especially if it can't be changed but some people have been burned before and are more trigger happy.
Just trying to keep things peaceful.

a week ago Saturday I got a pm from jd, it was my bill for 3 corms I ordered. in that bill he said he would ship on Monday. checked the post office yesterday and still no package. figured to pm him today and see if he was alright. you know these are not factory workers we get our bananas from. could have just as easily come home from the hospital missing pieces parts. things can happen fast. then to come home and find a negative rating on top of all that. glad jd is ok and hope his friend is too, my package will arrive when it gets here.

Hi everyone this is about a Discussion on things not to do here . We don't bash people or start a arguments here . I have seen a few that Harvey has had to warn people and lock down a thread and I know he has no time for this as well as I don't. I have seen a lot of new people come and go over the years and I don't use this for a chat room I wear many hats and my plate is always full so we don't have time to waste in Life. This is a place for some good information and sharing it. So here are some things if you are new here should know Their are some of us here that grow many varieties I know I have a lot that I don't list and the difference is this you can buy a tissue culture from a Nursery from 8 to 14 dollars that they pull off the self and ship it and then you get to wait 2 years to see if its what you order or if it will live. But what we grow here are plants so the pups or corms we have to dig up slow process and depends on the weather you can't dig in the mud. So I know most of the New members it's like XMAS morning waiting to come don't bug the seller we are not a mail order company or Nursery we do this as a service to help new members to get plants that will grow and produce. Here are a few tips look at the sellers feed back or ask question most of us have been here for a long time. Research on what you would like to grow at the top of the page is Wiki lots of info or start a thread to ask questions, Don't PM the seller 50 times to ask question and the process for you and the seller will go a lot faster and you will both be :0519:happy. Good luck on growing

Was this ever rectified? If so, you might ask him to change his feedback. There are always going to be some people who are impatient or just don't give you the benefit of the doubt, and quite often, alcohol seems to be involved...
I think for the most part though, most of us on here understand we are not commercial shippers and do a lot of this as a hobby or favor. Sometimes, these noobs see a post on a search result and sign up just to order; they have no clue as to who we all are.

I don't think I can do anything about iTrader ratings anyway but I suggest you ship the corms and try to work out things with your buyer and get them to change your rating. Most folks would be understanding if you explain things in a calm manner (i.e., don't attack them for leaving the rating) and ask them to change their rating after receiving the corms.
Hope things are better with your friend.

Thanks Harveyc for your input . I am not attacking anyone and the rating is not a issue with me. Just making a open discussion about this others may have been very upset and things might have gotten heated I for one am not this way. I think people need to stop and think before they act here and maybe you also have some tips for new members here.

I have had a wonderful experience ordering from JD. Great material. Super huge corms for a modest price. Good communication. He is definitely an asset to this group and, for a beginner like me, a great way to start on a new hobby.

JD does send good big healthy corms! I would recommend him as a fellow seller. I recently got a variety from him and they are all growing great! Hope you get it worked out JD.
A few days is well worth the wait. If you bought a TC plant you would be waiting 6 months for it to catch up in size to a good corm. Think about that!
