Hi banana heads. TR here. I'm new to this forum, but very familiar with other forums and boards. Very excited to be here and hope to glean as much info from you guys as possible. I'm very familiar with plants of all kinds and somewhat of an expert on dioecious annuals and large scale commercial indoor controlled environment agriculture. Third generation horticulture and grew up in a 50 acre greenhouse complex in Texas. Currently in Las Vegas and learning the ins and outs of growing trops and subtrops in the desert. Been in Denver the last ten years. What a poor plant pallet I had there. I travel the planet for work consulting start ups and and existing companies on how to successfully scale their indoor growing environments, and I'm always collecting and shipping things home. Recently purchased and mailed home a few musa from Florida. Would love to link up with and hear from anyone growing anything in the Las Vegas area or other high desert environments. Thanks for having me aboard. Hope to learn lots and meet great like minded people.

I'm a third generation horticulturist who grew up in a 50 acre greenhouse complex in Texas. Mainly floriculture and 10 acres of vine crops ( tomatoes peppers cucumbers melons and whatnot). Growing plants is all I've ever done for work and pleasure. Maybe not all I've done for pleasure but you know. I've worked around the globe contracting and consulting on various projects. I've also always grown cannabis and throughout my travels spent a lot of time and energy collecting cannabis seed from region of origin stock. I currently hold one of the most complete and diverse cannabis gene pools on the planet. In 2009 the DOJ put out what's known as the Ogden memo. It stated that groups who are operating in legal cannabis states and were following the rules would be exempt from federal prosecution. Thst sent me on a new path. I moved to Colorado three months after the Ogden memo. Most of the people in the industry at the time weren't much more than some guys who grew weed in their basements who were trying to go legit. I knew the economics and economy of scale involved in large scale controlled environment agriculture. My family wrote the books. It was the best decision I've ever made. The rest is now history. I now operate over a million sqft of indoor cannabis cultivation and 12 acres of greenhouse production with another 25 coming online in January of next year. 500 acres of outdoor low THC hemp production as well. I can grow things anywhere on this planet. Here's a couple links to some of the things I've been up to.
