Lately we've been getting new users (perhaps the same person?) who have no apparent interest in growing bananas but with a signature containing a link to some product website.

So I'm curious ... are you an actual grower of bananas, or do you have the capacity at your home to grow bananas?

Someone reported that Richard seemed to be a bully to a new member. Richard's post is fine. This person may very well be a spammer and I edited their signature line to remove the link to an external site that violates forum rules. I do not see any other members registered here with the same IP address.

Personally, I'll withhold my welcome until the person demonstrates a legitimate interest in bananas vs. just using another avenue to promote their site.

:08:Great catch Richard! When I signed up here I began posting right away because I was growing a DC and was trying to learn more. I'll admit that I have neglected a tomato and aquaponics forum because, at this point in my life, neither are integral or applicable. Actually my poor pups are not happy in pots just now but I do plan to give them a real home and let them grow soon. But joining "just to join" along with posting your "this is where if you click I make money link" is really bad form. Maybe it's time to ban links not related to weather?

Existing rules are sufficient. People that want to violate them will do so even if more rules are put in place.
